U.S. Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, welcomed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Washington earlier this week.
Sen. Flake also had the opportunity to meet with David Friedman, President Trump's nominee to serve as U.S. Ambassador to Israel. The two discussed the enduring bond between the United States and Israel, and how Congress and the Trump administration can work together to make that relationship even stronger.
