I apologize in advance for the audio being so low in the beginning. The GoPro takes great video, but horrible audio (that portion was even out of it's casing!)
Spent two days and one night up at Loon Lake in the El Dorado National forest which is one the western slope of the Sierras opposite of Lake Tahoe in Northern California. In was a warm weekend in Fall, and there wasn't a single other person camping up there other than me. I did see an occasional fishing boat go by, and I could hear a 4x4 or two running the Rubicon trail which is up the hill from this camp, but other than that complete solitude. That's rare in these parts!
Beautiful place with amazing clear water, great fishing, and some nice spots to camp. That, and it's only a short hour and a half drive from the Sacramento area. I'll be going back to this place again for sure!
