During our two-week PhD summer school, Climate-KIC students helped develop a strategy to make Frankfurt am Main carbon free by 2050.
Participants acquired theoretical knowledge about systems innovation and transition management and applied it to the transformation of the energy system in Frankfurt.
After two weeks of intensive research and planning at Frankfurt's Provadis School of International Management and Technology, seven teams presented their project plan for a zero-carbon transition, presenting it to an panel of European experts from various disciplines.
