The motorcycling adventure starts (and ends) in Chiang Mai, an exotic city 650kms north of the busy capital, Bangkok. Highlights of the trip include riding the 750km Mae Hong Son Loop, visting the hillside trekking town of Pai, riding to the summit of Doi Inthanon - the highest mountain in Thailand, and staying at a resort in the middle of the rice paddies near the rural town of Phrao. Along the way there is plenty of time to relax, soak up the stunning scenery, and meet the friendly locals.
