http://www.kimberlyallison.com Kim has a degree in jazz guitar from the University of Southern California, also displays a debt to Albert Collins and Stevie Ray Vaughan in her playing here. When it come to singing, though, she turns the reins over to her Friends, namely keyboardists Mister "Blues" Leshun, who offers slower than usual versions of Little Johnny Taylor's "Open House at My house," Little Junior Parker's "Next Time You See Me," and Jimmy McCracklin's "Just Got to Know," and Morris Beeks, who evokes Jimmy Whitherspoon on "No Dog, No Woman, No Best Friend Blues," before stepping up the tempo on "I want to Park My Hot Rod," which may or may not be a song about a car.
