GTA 3 (iPhone/iPad gameplay) for iOS is a port of one of the best games of all time, Grand Theft Auto III for PS2. The app is universal, so one purchase gets you versions for both an iPad and iPhone.

Available on the App Store for $4.99

Requirements: Compatible with iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod Touch (4th generation), iPad 1, and iPad 2. Requires iOS 4.3 or later.

Graphics: Outdated graphics compared to current GTA console games and not as pretty as some other iOS games. No car headlights or street lights on the single core devices. B-
Sound: The in-game radio stations with its music and talk radio are second to none. Voice acting by the actors is good, but the audio quality of it sometimes not so good. A-
Gameplay: Enough control options to make it playable. Lack of even more buttons make some tasks such as controlling the camera while auto aiming frustrating. Smooth framerates as long as you're using an iPad 2 or iPhone 4S. B
Replay Value: Just like the original for the PS2, it'll take you hours upon hours just to complete the missions. Just going on a plain ol' killing spree never gets old. As expected, no multiplayer since the original never had one. A
Overall (not an average): A
