This short video produced for Pfizer's Mobilize Against Malaria programme (MAM) illustrates the success of a pilot programme to improve access to Artemisinin-based Combination Therapy (ACT) by training Licensed Chemical Sellers in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. From November 2007, the MAM programme was implemented in Ghana, Kenya and Senegal to support promising models for the effective delivery of ACTs through private, public and community health sectors. A multidisciplinary team at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) continue to work with local evaluation partners to facilitate the synthesis of cross-cutting issues emerging from the research, which are of strategic importance in the development of regional and global policy agendas on the delivery of ACTs.
