The other day my new girlfriend said to me: thank you for this wonderful evening. I faked Mato's voice and replied: Mmmm... Is it.. really for free?

So, you and your girl have reached critical moment of the night

I found the move immediately even though mato said not to pause. all I had to do was think "what move makes absolutely no sense to me but is really aggressive?" and I saw it. highlight of my day.

hahahhaha exactly the same :) with mato you must just think about the a move that sacrifices something which is near enemy lines, then youre almost always correct.

After watching this again, I believe Tal is not human, he is the next stage of evolution, a super-human.

Tal would lose against Carlsen but not because of opening theory, but because Carsen choses openings, like Giuoco Piano, that already when Tal played suited a tactical player badly. It isn't opening theory that has advanced and made players like Tal "obsolete", its middle/endgame theory (Middlegame is where Tal won his games). Fisher Random doesn't solve this, because that theory still applies in Fisher Random and Tal would still get crushed.

I'm starting to think Tal is the most brilliant player ever, because his moves are unpredictable yet strong.

Yeah I agree. Other grandmasters played like a computer. That is something not creative. I believe Tal is the most brilliant GM.

+Evelyn Cecilia yes what about them? They are brilliant chess players and perhaps greater in stature as chess player than any other player but they do not have the style of Tal in playing chess which make him different from the rest. Imagine he even defeated Fischer in many of their games with moves which is like chess tricks or magic.

People will probably disagree with me, but I think Tal was the greatest ever.

+Jean Reno That's just it, almost every one of Tal's recorded games has a brilliant, inspiring combination. Today a lot of chess has to do with studying theory. While that's important, I'm of the opinion that studying openings into the 17th move (!) takes away from the spirit of the game. Tal embodied the spirit of chess like no other.

"We have reached a critical position in the game..white to play killa move...and please don't pause, its very hard to find that move" :D :D You rock Mato
handballvid
At the people saying they found the killer move in two seconds or with their eyes closed. You would have NO idea what to do next. You only guessed (correctly) what the move was and that's only because Mato said there is a killer move. Even then, you would still have no idea how to continue the attack
Victor Enesi
Exactly, I guess the move too Nxe6.. but I'm not sure how I'd have continued.. lol

Is Tal even human!

+Shea Soares Humaniac :)
Randy Bailin
An uncastled King against Tal, usually not the best approach.
Vimal Singh
Randy Bailin but I think the castled one is worse :)
Rosh Boshski
tal was like the honey badger of chess
Steve
