I write a lot of ads and let me say this one will be the hardest yet the easiest to write. The hardest part will be trying to explain just how incredible this SS Nova is, the easiest part will be just how incredible this SS Nova is. I have seen a lot of Nova's in my time and I must admit that this one, is absolutely the straightest, cleanest, best built '75 that I can ever remember. I drove this car over 75 miles to the shop and it drives on the highway fantastic. With the 396 4 Speed you don't need low gears to make this car move either. 1700 R's at 65 but will get from stop light to stop light in the blink of a eye. everyone who has heard that big block sound just cant get it out of your head. Please check out the Youtube Video so you can hear it run. We knew the car was clean, when I laid on the ground at the sellers house, but WOW when I put this car on the lift, what a sight!
WOW! Straight, I mean very straight. I have never seen a Nova this straight before looking down the sides and checking out the quality of how the doors do not hang and the hood and deck lid line up. The car has a very square stance to the road and and great shine and reflective properties on all panels. No Rust! All original fenders, all original quarters, original trunk pans, original floor pans and sub frames.
Super nice here also, all new looking seats, carpet, headliner, dome light, steering wheel, shifter, gauges. What a awesome place to see and be seen from. The seats sit very comfortable and the cushions are not crushed in any way, lots of back support and all glass is clear and unscratched.
Engine and Transmission
Just where to start, this Nova is powered by the renowned 396 Big Block, slight cam, sounds great, starts easy and does not smoke or leak! This engine is built for performance but runs on pump gas. (I get a lot of people who do not know what that means, you can go to any gas station for fuel, no high performance fuel needed) the carbs are two Holly 450's on a high rise manifold, Heidman Headers, with MSD ignition. The Transmission is a new Muncie M22 whit a B&M Holeshot 11" clutch assembly, with a balanced Flywheel and pressure plate. Chrome oil pan and natural aluminum cased trans.
This is a area I usually don't put in my ads, but this bottom is one to mention, nothing better than a nice bottom!! The gas tank is painted the straps are painted, the driveshaft is painted all the control arms are painted the backing plates are painted, the inner fender wells are painted the engine fenders are painted, super sharp, very clean show stopper, took this car to one show so far and couldn't get the judges to leave they where so impressed.
