Vladimir Ashkenazy conducts the final performance in the orchestra's 2-year tribute to Mahler: Mahler's Second Symphony: Resurrection Symphony.

Mahler put everything into his Resurrection Symphony -- not just his deepest convictions, his most ambitious ideas and the thunderbolts of inspiration, but an enormous orchestra and a huge chorus with vocal soloists. Recorded in November 2011 at the Sydney Opera House.
