Bybanen has borrowed a vintage rail grinding tram from Hannover, Germany to assist in preparing the track for the start of passenger operations on the 22nd of June 2010. This tram was built in 1937, is 8m long and 2,2m wide, weighs 13,2 tons, is bi-directional with a max speed of 50 km/h. It will be operating in Bergen between Nesttun and Byparken from 0100 to 0500 during the next 10 days (16 - 25 June 2010).
