MICHAEL E. PARKER, Founder and Chairman

As President and Chief Executive Officer of Stellar Enterprise, Mr. Parker oversees strategic direction of the company and its subsidiary businesses. He has a breadth of experience in starting, managing and expanding value-centered organizations and has set the tone, vision and culture with the customer-centric initiatives in all of the businesses he has founded.

Prior to starting Stellar Enterprise, Mr. Parker worked for Toyota Motor Manufacturing and General Motors, and received direct training on the Toyota Production System and Lean Management Philosophy in Japan, Canada, and throughout the United States. In his career, he has managed and led lean management programs for multi-million dollar organizations in both the service and manufacturing industries. Mr. Parker was named one of the brightest and promising executives by the East Bay Business Times when he won their highly coveted 40 under 40 Business Award

Mr. Parker founded Stellar Enterprise and more than seven companies including Jovance Beauty and Wellness, Stalaro's Fine Clothing, Value-Centered Management Institute™, Star Team Financial, Star Team Property Management, Star Team Realty and lifeskills411™ under the premise of lean thinking. He successfully implemented lean solutions into these service-oriented businesses and created a new management philosophy, Value-Centered Management™. Under the lleadership of Mr. Parker, Stellar Enterprise and its subsidiary companies, comprising more than 1000 professionals nationwide adopted Value-Centered Management™ practices, which yielded exceptional results, including a combined gross revenue of over $7 million dollars per year. Mr. Parker has received numerous awards for his work with his 7 companies and also in "Value-Centered Management." He has recently captured this knowledge and will be releasing a new book entitled "Who Said So?" in January 2008 by Wiley Publishing.

He holds a Masters of Business Administration degree in Management Science and a Bachelors of Science degree in Purchasing and Operations from California State University East Bay. Mr. Parker is also an instructor with the University's Continuing Education Program teaching classes in Just-in-Time systems. In addition, Mr. Parker is both the lead curriculum designer and master facilitator/trainer for all VCMI workshops and seminars.

Perhaps his most rewarding accomplishments was in founding the non-for-profit organization lifeskills411™. This program was created to help youth develop skills that will better prepare them for life. As a youth, Mr. Parker faced many challenges and obstacles growing up in the inner city. His experiences as a youth was the catalyst for him starting llifeskills411™. From 1999 through 2005 Mr. Parker and other concerned adults conducted a series of pilot programs throughout the Bay Area that touched the lives of over 200 youth in High School and College. Since then the llifeskills411™ Academy was opened to the public in 2006/2007 where over 60 youth in grades 6 through College benefited from this program. Mr. Parker's humble beginnings never allowed him to forget about the human potential that llies within all youth, and his affinity to an underserved generation has been evident through the lifeskills411™ organization.
