Impact: How much impact will this have on the person it's developed for? How much will their daily life improve?

Practicality: Does the project fit into peoples lives? If not, is it reasonably easy for people to adapt to the product? Think "usability".

Feasibility: Can this project be realistically implemented/deployed to the public?

Creativity & Technical Innovation: How neat is this thing?!

The UK government has secured demonstration space for DementiaHack winners at the UKHealthTech conference on December 4th. Expecting over 300 delegates and numerous high profile speakers, from the NHS to private investors, this event marks an important convergence in the development of Health Technology Innovation in the UK. Grand Prize winners will not only have the chance to demo their prototype in front of a vast and important audience, they will also have a series of partner and delegate meetings arranged at the conference, to facilitate networking and investment in bright ideas. Beyond the conference, the grand prize also features multiple days of meetings with key stakeholders in the health sector, the service sector, and the business incubation sector. The UK government has no shortage of contacts in these fields, and is committed to ensuring that these dementia solutions reach the people who need them most. Spanning just under a week and covering London, Wales, and potentially other parts of the UK, this trip is sure to offer grand prize winners the tools and investments they need to get their product to the next level. Flights and accommodation will be covered for the entirety of the trip.
