Visiting with family, traveling and paying extra bills can lead to additional stress and depression during the holidays. Rutgers researchers are studying the positive effects of combining exercise with meditation to fight depression naturally. Tracey Shors and Brandon Alderman are studying mental and physical skill (MAP) training to identify the effects of exercise, meditation and mental training on depression and brain health.
