Since 2008, DJs Maft Sai and Chris Menist have taken the unique sounds of their 'Paradise Bangkok' events around the world. As well as sell out nights in Thailand, the pair have played in Japan, UK, Germany, Switzerland and Austria with more dates planned for 2012. Launched at their recent 3rd Anniversary event in Bangkok, the 'Paradise Bangkok' label seeks to unearth little known musical gems from across Asia and Africa, starting off with two future Thai classics that have been thoroughly road tested on the dancefloor. Pressed up in a limited edition of 500, the single boasts a silk screen cover and hand stamped labels, as well as being individually numbered.

Paradise Bangkok : Limited Reissue PB001

Side A: 'Mor Khaen Ha Khu' - Prasai JaeKankaeo. Originally only available in a strictly limited private pressing, this tough luk thung track features a heavy afro-beat bassline and rattling cowbells, as the little known Prasai Jaekankaeo crank out 3 mins of underground brilliance. Sadly, this is their only known recording.

Side B: 'Lam Plearn Dok Koon Siang Khaen' - Chamnapa Petchpalanchai. Fresh from performing live at the 'Paradise Bangkok' 3rd Anniversary Chamnapa Petchpalanchai comes correct on some militant molam, complete with soaring khaen (the unique North-Eastern Thai bamboo mouth organ), and a hypnotic bass driven groove.

Maft Sai is the owner of the ZudRangMa shop and label, and DJs regularly around Asia. Chris Menist is a writer, DJ and musician recently relocated to the UK, who plays regular dates around Europe. The pair were also behind the critically acclaimed 'Sound of Siam' and 'Thai? Dai!' compilations on Soundway and Finders Keepers.
