江戸時代に馬の一大産地であった郡上にふさわしい踊りです。手綱さばきの勇ましい姿が威勢のよい踊りの動きに取り入れられ、横笛の音は馬のいななきに、軽快なバチさばきの三味線の響きは馬のひづめの音にさえ聞こえてきます。 One of the most energetic and fun to dance dances of Gujo Odori. Haru Koma's movements depict a samurai riding a young and energetic horse. This dance is also known locally as the "Gujo Mambo."
