In 2005 Corrie van Binsbergen was invited for the 'Rencontres Musicales de Rabat' in Morocco. For this occasion she put together a quartet. In december 2005 CRAM played it's first concert on the festival, this was so succesfull that a new band was born! The second day of the same festival they performed together with the Moroccan singer Touria Hadraoui. This collaboration continued in 2007 and 2008. In 2007 CRAM played at the prestigious North Sea Festival as one of the most surprising acts. In 2008 the group released its first CD 'For a dog', which received much acclaim from both press and public. That same year they performed in The Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and Brasil.
