Genius loci by Gitta Gschwendtner

Art within the new Cancer Centre at Guy's Hospital will be used to transform spaces and help people find their way around the building.

This video features one of the artists, Gitta Gschwendtner, talking about her work.

Gitta specialises in tailor-made artwork and designs and has recently expanded to include art installations in the public sphere. Gitta will focus on developing a key identity for each village in the Cancer Centre through a practical design response to furniture, floors, and possibly a wayfinding artistic solution. The panel were inspired by Gitta's experience of creating successful shared spaces, of working in areas where collaboration was required and where longevity was key to the brief.
