The Tardis is now completed. Standing 2100mm high outside and an internal ceiling height of 1500mm.
Many working features on the console. Designed with a half console against a polycarbonate mirrored rear wall, this gives the inside the illusion of space.
The side ceiling supports tilt towards the centre half ceiling circle, which when reflected also looks like a complete circular ceiling panel.
Built using MDF and timber framing, this thing is pretty damn heavy!
The entire top lifts off, and the centre console comes out. Then the roof supports unscrew and the mesh floor panels lift out.
This then means you can release the four side panels and break then entire thing down into moveable parts.
11 Dr Who themes/tunes built in
Ipod connection
Stereo sound system
Monitor (Digital picture frame). Plays video files, MP3's and displays images
USB hub to access above monitor, plus built-in SD card with default images.
24 sound effects
Long and short takeoff & landing effects + LED roof light
Illuminated Police Box signs
Led desk light
Working time rotor
Tardis 'Hum' sound effect (although a little temperamental!)
Full interior LED illumination
