The webinar "Money Smart Kids: Advancing Opportunity for Children and Youth through Savings and Financial Education" was held on Friday, June 22, 3:30 -- 4:30 pm EDT by ONABEN and CFED, and sponsored by the Northwest Area Foundation, to learn about ways to incorporate financial education, financial access and incented savings accounts for children and youth into programs. Expert speakers from CFED, a national organization with many years of experience in asset building for children and youth, described the key elements of children's savings programs and provided examples of successful models used in communities across the country. The webinar also described how programs can access free one-on-one technical assistance to help design and launch child/youth savings and financial education programming.
