This homescreen I created myself this morning. I like it because it enable you to move around the 'tiles' but still allow to access everyday activities such as the calendar or your instant messaging. Below are the 3 parts I have broken this video into, including all the necessary files:

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Part 1: Applying Apex and its settings

Here is the link for Apex Launcher Pro, as it comes with a few key features needed for this screen as well as many others:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/de...

Key changes here would be changing the 'portrait grid' to 8x9, manage screens should be changed so that there are only 2 screens, 'Wallpaper mode' should be single screen and 'Hide notification bar' should be ticked. Back to the main screen, change your Dock Settings by scrolling down and selecting 'Hide Dock'. Next would be to go back into the main screen, go into advanced settings, and select 'Overlapping Widgets'. Finally change your wallpaper to the one provided in the link below:

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Part 2: Adding in all the Minimalist Text widgets

This is an amazing app as it has so much hidden potential. Below is the link to download it free from the Play Store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/de...

Simply place 3x2 widgets onto the screen and place and resize accordingly, adding long bars and wide blank bar MT widgets to fill the edges.
I've provided a link below for all the 'skins' seen in the video, simply copy them and paste them into /sdcard/MinimalistTextPreferences . That way Minimalist Text can pick them up. You welcome to use these here, also provided is the fonts Bebas Neue and Helvetica as seen in the video:

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Part 3: Using the widgets to open apps

Finally we want to make these newly added widgets open applications once tapped. Almost all activities can be started by first selecting 'Start another activity' in the Tap Behaviour section of the Minimalist Text preferences. Once selected, open the 'Select an activity or a shortcut' option, and choose anything your heart desires. If for some reason you can't find what you looking for, or the app simply won't open, you need to use Desktop VisualizeR, as provided in the Google Play Store link below:
