This video shows and explains the various test pieces I created in searching for the perfect combination of materials in getting super smooth Worbla. Worbla is a heat reactive thermo-plastic that has become popular in the cosplay/costuming community.

NOTE: I forgot to mention that you have to sand between each layer of material. I also waited a full day between each material application, before applying the next, to be sure each was properly dry. This is not a quick process if your are in a hurry.

Wood glue is also popular for smoothing Worbla but I didn't enjoy working with it so I did not mention it in the video.
