On June 26, 2016, a group called American Bowhunters held a cruel cownose ray killing contest in Maryland. Rays, many of whom were pregnant, were shot at point blank range with arrows and left to die slow, lingering deaths.
Confederate Flags were prominently displayed on boats, and a bowhunter made the shocking claim that Maryland Governor Larry Hogan is a relative and on their "side" on the issue.
SHARK, Fish Feel and Last Chance for Animals are calling on Governor Hogan to denounce the actions of the American Bowhunters organization and to take immediate action to ban these cruel, unethical and wasteful killing contests.
Please politely call Governor Hogan at 410-974-3901
