Jerry Rubin is a guest on Donahue way back in 1970. A caller suggests that Yippies in the Soviet Union would never be allowed on TV and would be sent to labor camps.

Jerry Rubin was completely full of shit. He keeps saying " us, and we the young people " and kids like him and so forth.  In this interview....Jerry is about 32 years old.  He came of age for the draft in about 1955. Viet Nam was not his war.

@Guy2Fawkes In 1970, the Soviet government would NEVER allow a Soviet citizen to get on Soviet TV and call for the violent overthrow of the Soviet system. Sure, the U.S. has its faults but totalitarianism is not one of them.
