Katzcradul demonstrates her method of canning butter. The video is in 2 parts. The canned butter should be stored in as cool a place as possible, away from sunlight. Once your jar is opened, it does not have to be refrigerated, if used within a few days. This is why canning in half pint jars is preferable. DISCLAIMER: The USDA has not conducted any studies to determine if home canning butter is safe. Please use your own judgement to determine if this process right for your family.
