Tampa, Fla. (June 21, 2012) - Students from the University of South Florida's College of Engineering traveled to the Netherlands over the course of three summers from 2009 through 2011 as part of the International Research Experience for Students or IRES.
The National Science Foundation funded the trip in an effort to increase global awareness about water issues and give the students the opportunity to visit and research at UNESCO-IHE, a leading Institute for water education in Delft, Netherlands. The groups were comprised of undergraduate and graduate students on various research tracks that were applied to existing research at the Institute.
