Charted at #70 on Billboard Hot 100 in July 1963. Except for a re-release of "The Wonder Of You" which charted the following year, this was Ray's last record to chart on the Hot 100. It was remade by the Shangri-Las a few years later and became a Top 40 hit. Original Billboard review: "Ray Peterson could have a smash with this tragedy saga called "Give Us Your Blessing" about two teeners who run away to get married and are killed in an auto accident. Some stations may shy away from it, but most won't."

Written by Jeff Barry and Ellie Greenwich.

Listed as "Give Us Your Blessing" on the record label.

B-side is "Without Love (There is Nothing)".
