My brazilian wandering spider (Phoneutria nigriventer) attacking two termites. Notice that in the second attack, the spider actually cuts the termite in two pieces. The termite's head and legs stay in the wood , but the spider gets the termite's abdomen.

Welcome to the scene in LOTR where frodo and sam battle the big evil spider. Except they get wrecked in this version.

I don´t know why but I guess termites are harmless and stupid, they don´t even run or attack the spider :P

I can't believe anyone would keep this thing as a pet...Arguably, the world's deadliest spider and pretty aggressive...Ugh I hate spiders...Poisonous ones are even worst...I would have smashed this thing the first chance I got.
