Video Transcript for those with Hearing Loss:

Hi everybody. My name is Dr. Alice Wilson. I'm a pediatrician working in Marietta, Georgia. I've had hearing loss well probably my whole life but I've been wearing hearing aids for about 20 years on and off. I first met Dr. Joy Pritchett in Milledgeville, Georgia when I was living there. She helped me with my hearing aids and fitted me with the Widex completely in the ear canal. Those were great for me because they were the smallest aids that I've had up until that point and my hearing was wonderful with them. I did have a little bit of a problem because I'm a pediatrician, I needed to use my stethoscope and they're completely in-the-ear-canal aids caused me to have feedback so I found myself taking my hearing aids on and off. Dr. Joy had arranged for me to have an amplified stethoscope. Those were wonderful. So, I can take care of my patients but I had to choose each time when I wanted to have my aids in and hear the patients talk or have my stethoscope in and listen to their heart. When I moved to Atlanta, Dr. Joy introduced me to Dr. Cassie Cohen again at Atlanta Hearing Associates. And, Cassie was just wonderful to me. She listened to me. She understood my needs which were #1: a very small hearing aid, #2: I needed a hearing aid that was powerful enough for me to hear, and #3: I wanted to be able to use it with my stethoscope. After listening to me, she suggested that we try the Widex Passion which has worked great. It really takes care of all my needs. It's really small and it allowed me to cut my hair which I like a lot. I can use my stethoscope while keeping my hearing aids in which is just perfect for my patients. And, it's powerful. I've loved it. I haven't had any problems at all and that's the end of my story.
