The Great Global Warming Swindle
Written and Directed by Martin Durkin
(documentary revised from 2007)
This is a story of how a theory about climate turned into a political ideology.
It is a story of the distortion of a whole area of science.
It is the story of how a political campaign turned into a bureaucratic bandwagon.
This is a story of censorship and intimidation. ----------------------------------------
Now they are saying that the argument wasn't about global warming but it's about climate change. Who is disputing that the climate changes? No one!
The climate is always changing! It goes through short and long term cycles. No one thinks otherwise, so there is no debate about climate change. The argument is about CO2 and man made global warming, not climate change.
If the argument isn't about global warming, why is the argument centered around increases in CO2, a greenhouse gas? Additional greenhouse gas causes warming, not cooling.
Major problem with the CO2 causes global warming argument:
CO2 increases AFTER the Earth warms up. There is a lag time of up to 800 years. It is a byproduct of global warming, not the cause of it.
When the oceans and the Earth warm up, they releases CO2. The Oceans holds most of the Earth's CO2. It is vast and deep and take a long time to warm up and cool down. This is the reason for the CO2 lag behind temperature fluctuations.

Climate Scientists or IPCC Science Contributors in this documentary:
Professor John Christy,
Lead Author, IPCC, Climatologist, Earth System Science Center, University of Alabama, Huntsville. John Christy is a climate scientist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) whose chief interests are satellite remote sensing of global climate and global climate change. He is best known, jointly with Roy Spencer, for the first successful development of a satellite temperature record.
Dr. Roy Warren Spencer,
a climatologist, Principal Research Scientist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and the U.S. Science Team leader for the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer (AMSR-E) on NASA's Aqua satellite. He has served as Senior Scientist for Climate Studies at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center.
He is known for his satellite-based temperature monitoring work, for which he was awarded the American Meteorological Society's Special Award.
Professor Richard Lindzen -- IPCC & Alfred P Sloan Prof. of Meteorology, MIT
Lindzen, an American atmospheric physicist and Alfred P. Sloan Professor of Meteorology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Lindzen is known for his work in the dynamics of the middle atmosphere, atmospheric tides and ozone photochemistry. He has published more than 200 scientific papers and books. He was a lead author of Chapter 7, 'Physical Climate Processes and Feedbacks,' of the IPCC Third Assessment Report on climate change.
