This video examines the main differences between the two most commonly used calibre of rifles for vermin control in the UK - the .22LR and the .17HMR.
In the UK we are only allowed to have the .17HMR in bolt action, the .22LR being the only calibre of semi-automatic rifle available to us.
Both rifles are good for rabbit shooting so I have both but the .17HMR is an expensive beast.
