This session at the "Business and Politics: Which Drives Which?" conference, co-hosted by the Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. Center for Leadership and Ethics at Columbia Business School and Columbia University's Institute for Social and Economic Research and Policy (ISERP), featured professionals discussing broad perspectives of the relationship between business and politics.

Speakers included: R. Glenn Hubbard, dean and the Russell L. Carson Professor of Finance and Economics at Columbia Business School; Matthew Bishop, US business editor and New York bureau chief of The Economist; Lewis Kaden, vice chairman of Citigroup; and John Podesta, chair and counselor of the Center for American Progress and Center for American Progress Action Fund. Discussion was moderated by Gillian Tett, US managing editor of the Financial Times.
