Maher says the disrespect shown towards President Obama is rooted in racism and that "Obama's had to be the Jackie Robinson of American politics -- never reacting to the taunts from the stands."

Calling some who's racist a racist is like calling a liar a liar. They get very defensive.
Whether it's about his skin colour or not, you have to admit that the amount Obama gets demonized is ludicrous. He's still the president of the United States, he's due his fair share of respect. He's dogged constantly by organizations like Fox News, criticized for Bush's mistakes and the amount he's actually done compared to what he gets the blame for is unprecedented. They say he doesn't do enough, then he tries to pass a bill and Republicans fall over themselves to block it, he proposes the tax cuts they wanted and they accuse him of pandering. Honestly, I do think race does come into it, and so does him being a Democrat. He can't turn left or right without a media circus about his 'socialist' ways.

Jan Brewer is a shameless hag. She's an embarrassment to America. Actually Arizona is an embarrassment to America. Get your shit together.

Maher is scum, but that President was a racist, and as corrupt as a man could be. A die hard socialist who hated America and everybody in it. He ruined our economy and was the most divisive president we’ve ever had.

GOP Racism is telling of the character of these people.

In my 65 years of life. I have never seen this much disrespect toward a president to the extent of believing he wasn't born in Hawaii. Strange how they never came down on Arnold Schwarzenegger when he ran for governor of California. Arnold said no one ask for his birth certificate, even though his father Gustav was a member of Hitler storm troopers.

The racism shown towards the president is symptom of a sickness in American society.

Nice try Maher, and BTW, Jackie Robinson was a proud Republican.  Find me one hint of so-called GOP racism against Obama. I keep hearing from the mainstream media that the tea party is racist, yet I haven't seen a link or actual news report quoting actual racist remarks by any one in the tea party. But the certain member of the lib media continuously repat the same lie over and over as if it's a fact. Like most weak-willed liberals when he can't win the argument he plays the ol' race card.
