This is the title theme to Neuromancer for the Commodore 64. It's based on the song Some Things Never Change by Devo, I think.

Neuromancer is a graphical adventure game where you play as a computer hacker who's hit rock bottom. Answering an ad from someone named Armitage, you get your hardware back from the pawn shop and embark on a cyberpunk adventure that entangles you with some rogue artificial intelligences who seek to break from their bonds and become gods on earth. Along the way, you'll drain bank accounts, break into networks, discover the mystery behind Black ICE, and visit a monastery devoted to the One True Video Game.

From Neuromancer (1988) by Interplay. Commodore 64 version. Played with SIDPlay, recorded with Audacity. Played at NTSC speed (60 Hz).
