Rev. Lemaire Alerte, pastor of the Haitian Evangelical Church in Jersey City, New Jersey says that after several missionary trips back to his hometown of Grande-Saline in central Haiti -- there were many cries for a Jr. High School to be built. With fundraisers and donating thousands of dollars of his own money, he was able to start construction three years ago.

With the recent 7.0 earthquake that recently shook Port Au Prince, the urgency is greater for him to complete the school, as many children came to Garnde-Saline for refuge, education and hope for a better life.

Rev. Alerte listened. But now he needs your help.

Go Inspire Go's youngest volunteer, New Jersey high school student Julian Cohen, and his friend Jamie Cahn, were moved by Rev. Alertes story and captured it on video for you to see.
