Janitors, mustaches, alien space pirates, human cloning: this is Space Waste, a computer game made by interdisciplinary Johns Hopkins University students in 2009. Two programmers, one artist, and one writer.

The four of us received weekly mentoring from Firaxis (the makers of the crtically acclaimed Civilization series) in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

We transformed the game from simple whiteboard sketches, into a nice and fun little demo with some cool gameplay mechanics, great art, and a lot of work.

This demo skips all of the dialogue to show you the juicy stuff!

----- PLOT -----

You are tasked with clearing up all of the Earth's garbage that has been disposed of in space.
During your first day of training, your fleet is suddenly attacked by Space Pirates/ Aliens. Why? We're not quite sure.
