Okay, I really wanted to do a video for Yuki and Kiyoteru's Magnet... but I couldn't figure out how to erase the obvious creep factor. Seriously, why were they released TOGETHER?? That's just begging for trouble. Sure he's her music teacher, but where did they think this was going to go? With all due respect to the Vocaloid fanbase, most of the Vocaloid songs we have them sing are about "mature relations" so why do we even have so many YOUNG Vocaloids? Miku should be enough right there at age 16, but noooooo. We have Rin and Len (age 14) Hibiki Lui (age either 15 or 12 depending on who I ask) Oliver (age 12?) Yuki Kaai (age 9) and Gatchapoid/Gatchapin (age 5) and I'm not even counting the new Chinese Vocaloid (age 15), the Voiceroids Shouta (age 7) and Ai (age 5) or any of the other new characters. And why is it that the 20 and up aged Vocaloids all look um... OLDER than their 20's? Did you know that when I first saw MEIKO I thought she was Miku's mom? MEIKO is 25, she's MY age!! But MEIKO, KAITO, Kiyoteru, Gakupo and Gumi all look much, MUCH older when you see the box art. And yet in still, there are tons of Magnet covers between the 20 somethings and the young ones. *Sigh*
But...... I have to say.... Yuki's voice balences out Kiyoteru's unusually high pitched voice so well... AUGH!!
So I tried giving them more distance for this video, made Yuki older, and then I animated something extra. There's an important lesson at the end, so please PLEASE watch the WHOLE video. Thanks!
