Brown tabby w/ white, short hair, female, born approx. 8/31/10, #9092

Shama was dropped off at a local veterinary hospital along with her 5 kittens. The kittens have grown up and been adopted so now it is Shama's turn to find a home.

Shama can be a little reserved until she gets comfortable with her environment and the people there; she appreciates if you let her come to you for those initial introductions. Shama loves attention, though, so it doesn't take her too long... she'll be asking for pets before you know it, climbing up on your lap, and seeking you out or trying to call you back if you're in another room. Shama is still a young kitty and has plenty of energy to play with her toys (she especially likes the dangly kind).

Shama lived in a home with many other cats and tolerated them all, though we would guess that she wouldn't mind being the only cat in the household. We don't know how she feels about dogs. She would like a quieter household, so very young children would not be a good fit; older respectful children would probably be fine.

Shama is yearning for that special exchange of love and devotion that comes from a good human-kitty relationship. Will you be the lucky recipient of Shama's love?
