CHICKASHA -- Coming in as a freshman at the height of the program, Ryah Vyse is excited to continue the women's soccer success this year.

"For the team, I'd love to get to nationals like they did last year," she said. "I've heard so many stories of it being a great experience and stuff. It would be good for the team, and it shows our hard work has paid off."

While the season started off rough, the Drovers have won their last seven games, including their first two conference games.

"I think we've really turned it around," Vyse said. "We picked it up and we've been doing really well. That reflects in the score. We've started to play a lot better as team now."

Vyse joined the Drovers directly from Hertfordshire, England. She had decided to look into playing for and attending college in America, but wasn't specific about where in the states to end up. The adjustment, she said, was surprisingly easy for her.

"I was open minded and went with what I thought was best," Vyse said. "I think I've surprised myself and dealt with it quite well."
