Luiz Fernando from the IBGE (Brazilian Federal Institute of Geography and Statistics) and Fellow at the University of Melbourne Data for Health Initiative explains his work to link civil registration and vital statistics data in Brazil to estimate completeness.

He says: "This work is incredibly important to civil registration and vital statistics (CRVS) strategy, because we can improve our data of CRVS, and with that, it provides us with a better enumeration of the vital events, and we can get to know better our population health."
