Thanks to technology and a new app for sharing architectural drawings, the $90 million construction project at Washington University's Olin Business School in St. Louis is progressing at a faster pace. Foremen armed with iPads linked to a database of drawings that can be updated quickly and electronically are reducing the amount of time it takes to communicate changes on the project from drawing board to the actual construction site. The Electronic Plan Box on the construction site is known affectionately as "the Taco Stand".
