In this video I take a look at the fan noise on the new MacBook Pro with Retina Display.

The fan on this machine has been designed and engineered to be quieter than fans on any previous generation MacBook Pro. For the most part my MacBook Pro operates silently and there have only been a few occasions where I've barely heard the fan. That said the fans will kick into overdrive if your exporting HD video or playing games.

In this video I export a HD video file from Final Cut Pro X to kick the fans into overdrive and hopefully you'll be able to make out the fan noise on camera however slight. The noise of the fan is audible although it is noticeably quieter than the previous generation Macbook Pro.
