The title of this level comes from the massive trench that takes up a significant portion of the starting area. Of course, I strongly doubt any actual trenches dug during a war would be this rectangular. This is also a good demonstration of how buggy the nodes in the RICKDOOM collection are; watch as I make my way through the SKY2 wallpaper tunnel and a wall literally appears right in front of me. I am so glad we have better tools these days.

This level also features a cyberdemon who stands over the yellow key, and who is helpless unless you blow up the barrels to free him. In fact, he's so helpless that you can easily chainsaw him to death! Of course, the author's cunning plan is thwarted by the fact that you can swipe the key from underneath the cyberdemon. This means you can kill almost everyone else and come back when you have a weapon that will kill him quickly.

UV max went well on this one; killing the first shotgunner can take a bit longer than it should because of an engine bug with huge, outdoor areas that causes bullets to impact on thin air, but otherwise, it was smooth sailing. My previous exits were 2:25 and 2:24.

UPDATE (Nov. 8, 2012): This WAD, as well as the rest of RICKDOOM, was authored by Rick Kelly. Thanks to Ryback for this info. (For further detail, check my TECHNO.WAD video.)
