This goes silent briefly - independently in each part. One way to use this video is is to play along with the metronome in the pocket - so every click merges with the metronome - and keep going through the silences. Tthe challenge is to see if you are in the pocket whenever the metronome comes on again - either for each part separately, or if you can, try both parts together.

For continuous version see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBFvYY...

This is a great way to practise this rhythm. Counting 1 to 5 and 1 to 7, but playing alternate instruments in both hands all the way through- helps keep an even rhythm.

You can do other polyrhythms the same way.
