At SIDIG-MED's recent meeting in Barcelona, the founder of the Royal Botanic Garden of Jordan, HRH Princess Basma bint Ali, was interviewed by the press. In this video, she speaks a little about the aims and importance of the SIDIG-MED Urban and Peri-urban Agriculture project, currently under way in Jordan, Spain, Italy and Tunisia.
SIDIG-MED stands for Social and Intercultural Dialogue through Governance for Local development: Mediterranean Urban and Peri-urban Agriculture (UPA).
The 2-year project runs until November 2015, and is funded by the ENPI CBCMED programme of the EU. The total budget of project is 1,998,646.60 Euros, of which 1,798,781.94 Euros is being provided by ENPI CBCMED.
