"LIVING AREA AND KITCHEN" - In the Not So Big Showhouse, Sarah Susanka describes how "Wall Thickness" can provide personality to a plain wall by using depth for character, and color for differentiation. A "Point of Focus" feature in the kitchen, and "Differentiating Space from Space" through trim bands, soffits, color and lighting define the living and dining areas. There is a "Theme and Variation" personified in the dream window designed by Sarah in the Library that is repeated throughout the home and ties it together in a unique way - just like in a classic piece of music.
