Take a few minutes to visit one of the largest independent biological field stations in the world. Located at 9,500 feet above sea level, RMBL brings together decades of discovery and scientific training to advance informed stewardship of the Earth. RMBL was founded in 1928 amid the remains of the ghost town of Gothic, Colorado. Today it is an internationally renowned high-altitude ecosystem study site with a community of researchers, scientists, and students who migrate to mountains of Colorado every summer to increase our knowledge base of Nature.
