Benedict XVI attended a performance of Bavarian songs, dance, and music organized by the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising as part of a Bavarian afternoon held yesterday at Castel Gandolfo. It demonstrated the joy typical to the Bavarian culture, the Pope said, and he thanked archbishop of Munich and Freising Cardinal Marx who organized the Bavarian hour.
