A family is a gift from God. It is a sad thought indeed when I think of all the families that could and should have been, but there are only lingering memories in countless millions of people's minds of a pregnancy and precious life that was needlessly terminated.
As a Christian I do not condemn anyone, for we are all sinners in the hands of an angry, but merciful and forgiving God by faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
May we all consider our decisions in life very carefully, because the precious life of a child is not something that God blesses everyone with. Many people cannot have children for biological reasons. I've always struggled with the paradox that God gives children to those that don't want them, who bring them to an abortuary to meet a horrible death; while millions of people who want a child to love, adore and care for bountifully cannot have any children. Go figure! Only God knows the answer. I choose to trust God's wisdom, love and power, rather than put Him on trial as the wicked world does. Everything that God does is right!!!
The thought grips my mind, that every aborted child has a family somewhere, that didn't want him (or her); but there are other, distant family members which likely do.
I know one thing for certain, and that is that every Christian believer (and aborted baby) is a member of God's adopted family. Ephesians 3:14-15, "For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom THE WHOLE FAMILY IN HEAVEN AND EARTH is named." Amen!
