A Desk Lamp doing a jump. Instead of direct animation, the key frames are fed (as targets) to the physically based joints and simulated in with PhysX. The result is a physically based response. While at Ageia, i implemented the 6DOF joint drive model in the SDK and wrote the 3dsmax plugin which let you run simulations right inside the viewport. Made this little scene to show off all the tech as well as the potential for physically driven animation (or perhaps better described as animation controlled physics). Music i made and mixed in FLStudio.
